A Day To Remember

I am Alex Shelnutt, I am the drummer from A Day To Remember. In music no one really notices the drums. But no one realizes how key they are until they're gone. Thats the way I see myself people won't realize me until I am gone. I write lyrics but I am not really a fan of reading. I think you can say so much more with music in a few sentences, than a novel can. Music lets me feel more emotionally connected, it hits a deeper level. I want to hit that deeper emotional level with everyone.

Direct Orders

You've been direct orders to rock the f#@* out. Rock out like every day is your 21st birthday. Rock out like you just landed a record deal. Rock out like the street is your shower. Rock out like you just got your first kiss from your dream girl. Rock out like you got the last cookie. Rock out like you never have to go to school or work again. Rock out like it's a Saturday and its time for cartoons. Rock out like you get to eat ice cream for breakfast. Rock out like your family went on vacation for a week, and the only thing you have on your mind is.... PARTY!
